Editorial: Introducing the ACLAS Journal

Abstract

With this inaugural issue, the ACLAS Journal opens its pages to students, faculty, and researchers around the world. Published by Atlanta College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (ACLAS), an online-first American college offering self-paced programs for global learners, the journal is peer reviewed, open access, and free to read and publish in. This editorial describes why the journal exists, what it publishes, and how we work, and closes with an invitation to contribute to Volume 1, No. 1 (2026).
